HISTORY

Rachel was born into the world with her twin brother Joseph in Barrie, Ontario to an average set of parents. Being twins their parent decided to dress them in symmetry. Other than this their childhood was perfectly normal.

After seeing hordes of martial arts flicks on TV the twins both developed an interests in them. While her decided to take karate she started off with judo. After 5 to 6 years of judo Rachel wanted something more challenging so her parents enrolled her in kung fu classes. Yet after many years of her kung fu classes she enrolled in gymnastic classes as well to give her even more of a challenge.

Then late one night while she was bar hopping looking for a good time she came across a mugging and she decided to stop it. As she confronted the mugger she was surprised that instead of stopping the mugger she got her but kicked badly in less than a minute by moves she had never seen. Before the mugger got away she inquired where he had learned such moves he replied by saying “Mine is the way of the Ninja”

From that night she decided that she would learn ninjtisu no matter what the cost. The only place she finds where she can learn ninjstu is in a gang of thieves and killers known as the Clan of the Bat. Seeing it as the only place to learn ninjatsu she goes for it. This clan of corrupts her to the core over the next few years. As she did with all things before she has taken and quickly mastered it.

Then one day out of the blue her brother who had left the country to study his martial art of choice came back and confronts her over a vision he had of her murdering someone in cold blood. She gives him little reaction as killing has become a part of her life. To try and make his sister see the error of her ways Joseph joins the Clan just so he can try to convince her to leave. Finally she gives into him on the one condition that they would go into business for themselves and being robbing places by themselves exclaiming they would be a dynamic duo of thieves.

He agreed as to just get her out this Clan. At this they started making hits all their own in exchange making enemies of their former clan members. Rachel kept the codename Bat Black that the clan gave her however her and her brother came with entirely new outfits.

POWERS AND SKILLS

Bat Black has no metahuman powers. On the other hand her training in judo, kung fu, ninjitsu and gymnastics makes her a very lethal opponent to face off against to mention she not think twice about killing anyone save her brother and parents. Through the ninja clan she has learned lots information on how to commit all kinds of crimes.
